Most often, when you look in a home decor magazine you will see a throw draped over a chair perhaps as an accent. You have to admit the eye is automatically drawn to it. It has done its job and that is to enhance the room.
Then when we try this in our own everyday homes, it just doesn't seem to work the same or give the same effect. This is most often because either it's not the right design for the era or the room, the colors are clashing with the room itself or its just not be displayed properly either in the way it is laid our or where it is draped.
Almost every room in our house contains some form of art, the throw blankets are the perfect venue for this, and if you tie them in with your wall art then you have created a flow in the room. Where the eye seems to go to one section of the room then that section leads them to the next.
